Invisalign at KBM Dental: What to Expect

Invisalign has become one of the treatments we’re asked about most, from teenagers to adults who never had braces the first time round. Here’s what the process generally looks like.

1. Consultation and scan

We start with a digital scan of your teeth rather than the old-fashioned impression trays. This lets us map out how your teeth will move, stage by stage, before you commit to anything.

2. Your aligners

You’ll receive a series of custom, clear aligners, each worn for roughly one to two weeks before moving to the next in the sequence. They’re removable, which means no changes to how you eat, and a normal brushing and flossing routine.

3. Check-ins

We’ll see you periodically through treatment to track progress and make sure things are moving as planned.

Is it right for you?

Invisalign suits a wide range of cases, from minor crowding to more noticeable misalignment, though more complex bite issues are sometimes better suited to other approaches. The only way to know is a consultation — we’ll be upfront if we think a different treatment is a better fit for your teeth.

Make an enquiry to find out if Invisalign is right for you.
